We are currently seeking a detail-orientated, hardworking, and passionate Vineyard Irrigation & Data Technician to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, Winemaking & Viticulture; you will work to help implement improvements in our vineyards to optimize irrigation management, improve accuracy in crop yield predictions, and early detection of vineyard health issues.

Able to work without supervision & available for flexible hours depending on seasonal requirements
Ability to take direction; work harmoniously with coworkers, clients and vendors
Able to work in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures

Requirements:

Knowledge and understanding of viticulture and horticultural crops with an associated degree or diploma are considered an asset.
Knowledge and understanding of irrigation systems an asset
Interest in working with viticultural or horticultural crops
Excellent communication and computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Excellent attention to detail; must possess accurate and reliable data collection skills
Ability to perform the physical demands of vineyard monitoring work such as bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, and pulling
Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
Class 5 driver's license with a clean record
